As this school year takes off and you establish a solid routine, it can be quite exciting to add a few on-site lessons at historical locations.
Several national historic sites are found in our neighboring state to the east. These are places where Revolutionary ideas were shaped and where the sights and sounds of the 17th and 18th centuries still live on today. Best of all, these destinations offer annual homeschool days, usually with reduced rates and additional homeschool-oriented activities. Check them out:
